Auld Lang Syne and A Happy New Year

The Year of the Babi Babe is drawing to a close and it has been an eventful year to me although all I saw in the first 3 quarters was this

Lets reflect on what I've done in year 2007

Drink milk.............. CHECKED
Sleep ...................... CHECKED
Drool saliva ........... CHECKED
Drink milk ............. Did I say that already?

look at the sleeping posture of someone born in The Year of Pig. Did you notice the scar on the forehead? Maybe one day I'll be accepted into the school of Hogwarts. Nay, don't think so, the scar is not permanent.

The year 2007 has been a good year, so lets make resolutions for 2008

* DRINK MORE MILK
* SLEEP MORE
* DROOL MORE LESS SALIVA

Happy New Year everyone!! Hugs and kisses from Jing Er for a good year ahead.

Merry Christmas from Jing Er

Merry X'mas everyone!! I know I am one day late but I have no internet access till now. I am now in Malacca, hometown to Dad and Mum and needless to say, the A'Famosa fort and the Stadhuys instantly lose their attractions status the day I stepped into Malacca... Muahaha..

You must be wondering why my Santa hat is blue in colour. People says, the only constant is change. Enough said.
I'll blog more about my trip to Malacca when I'm back in Singapore. For now, I'm enjoying my new SUPERSTAR status.

Christmas mood

Come this 25 Dec, I will be celebrating my first Christmas. I shall celebrate it by.. err.. staying at home? Anyway, Christmas mood already fills the air, with shopping centres trying to outdo each other with their Christmas decorations.

This is the first time I see a christmas tree and it's huge. That's when I have my second outing to nearby Causeway point. Besides, there are also a makeshift Disney castle and a dwarf house.

Out of one-month "house arrest"

Today is my first outing, signifying the end of the traditionally-imposed one-month house arrest confinement. I don't know if it can be considered as an outing, as I slept through 90% of the time. Anyway, we went to Chong Pang City. Shopping is a woman's right and today, I exercised my right for the first time. As in who pays for the purchase, that is another matter.

I've got myself a Tollyjoy Baby Food Maker. Though still early to take in a more solid food, my instinct tells me that I will evolve from Milk Monster to something else. I am now looking at my idol, Cookie Monster, as my source of inspiration.

Also in my shopping basket was a musical box. When the string is pulled and released, music fills the air and the boat starts to rock.

I love shopping. By the way, Ah Chek, whom I've not met before, pays for the items above as a gift to me. Thank you Ah Chek.

Full month

Today I celebrate my full-month. Check out my new hair-do... err, rather the lack of it.

I put on new clothes and wear skirt for the first time. Hmm, it feels weird.

Check out my babyGap skirt.

Besides new clothes, we have some makan makan as well. Check out the spread.

Hello people, I thought I am the one who is celebrating full-month, how come everybody get to makan makan except me??

To Daddy, with love

Daddy is getting jealous because I dedicated a blog for Mummy. So I dedicate this blog to Daddy, as he has sacrificed and suffered no less, so he said. Among notable sacrifices are:

1. Daddy has to consume whatever leftover food nauseating Mummy could not take and hence has put on weight. What a blessing sacrifice!

2. Daddy bought a lot of 4D numbers on my birthdate, birthtime, weight, room number, birth cert number, etc when I was born but none of the numbers strike. Now Daddy is poorer instead of richer. By the way, what has this to do with me?

3. Daddy sacrificed his normal TV time to give me early education... as early as when I was still in Mummy's womb. He kept on whispering "F=ma" to me. Sigh... Daddy is so poor in his ABC, m doesn't come after F and worse still a should be the first letter, not last.

4. Oh ya, he has always been my photographer, both still and video, and hence there are less photos of Daddy and I than those of Mummy and I. My philosophical Daddy says, many is better than little, but little is better than not at all.

I love you too, Daddy.

Dedicated to Mummy

Today, I would like to dedicate my blog to Mummy.

There is no doubt that I started bullying Mummy even when I was still in Mummy's womb. On a minor side, she nauseated because of me. On a more serious side, I kicked her whenever I liked. You have no idea what a bully I was. I even squeezed into one corner of her belly.

Not to mention the pain she has to endured in labour room.

And when I finally can breathe on my own, I live up to my nickname "Milk Monster".

Despite all these, I know there is a special bond between Mummy and I.

I love you, Mummy.

Hello World!!

I inhaled my first breath 21 October 2007, KK Hospital Singapore and this is me at few minutes old.

The following day 22 Oct 2007, I stepped into my home for the first time.

On 23 & 26 Oct 2oo7, Daddy, Mummy and maternal Grandma brought me to Woodlands Polyclinics for check-up. I am very good girl because I saved Daddy's and Mummy's money for not having jaundice.

Daddy and Mummy say I have a lot of facial expressions, even when I sleep.
