Righteousness

.
Today, I did something Daddy and Mummy are so proud of me (and amused at the same time).

We were at Chong Pang City. While Daddy was queuing to buy soya bean milk, I was with Mummy near the sheltered area where lots of parents and kids were around. My attention was drawn to one di di, who is just a few days younger than me. He had a ball in his hand. He was so nice to share the ball with me, after his mum urged him to do so. So, I bounced the ball a few times and then handed back to him. He, in turn, bounced it a few times, and then passed to me. And the process repeated a few times. Then came another di di wanting to join. So, the first di di gave the ball to the second di di. What happened next was the second di di took the ball and never returned. Sensing that the second di di was not going to return, I confronted him and tried to get the ball from him. He refused and I shrieked! Taken aback by my screaming, he let go. So I took the ball and gave back to the first di di. Oh yeah, don't mess with me. Hell hath no fury than a woman scorned.

On a brighter note, I have a new pair of shoes! Mummy bought it for SGD9.90 and I think it's a steal.

It's very nice and look, it lights up everytime I walk. Cool!

Perth trip (2nd instalment)

.
As we arrived in Perth late evening, we could not go out on the same day. So, the next day, we began our Perth holidays by exploring the city centre. Our rented apartment is about half a kilometre away, so we chose to walk, despite the fact that there is a free shuttle within the region.

Though the morning was sunny, the winds made it very cold. Look at me, wrapped by Daddy and Mummy like a meat dumpling (bak chang).

We came across a park - don't know its name and don't care. But because it's a park, we had to stop to take some pictures.

It has some sculptures in it, such as this one... which looks like a gigantic pen tips stabbed into the soil.

Another sculpture, not surprisingly though, is that of kangaroo.

For this pose, Daddy asked me to squat down and I obliged - That's what makes me a gooooood girl. :-p

We then reached a ferry terminal that overlooks the famous Swan River.

One of the landmarks near the ferry terminal is the Bell Tower.

and the ferris wheel. It seems that almost every city has ferris wheel... London, Singapore, KL... opps.. no more in KL, it is sold to Melaka, for whatever reason lah.

Then we headed to the city pedestrian shopping street - Murray Street.

Daddy and Mummy did some quick shopping around.

They got what they want, but I didn't get what I want. Of course, I sulked lah...

So, when we called it a day and headed home, we saw this building - which shares the same block number as our home in Singapore. Of course, must take picture lah, kiasu a bit.

Perth trip (First Instalment)

.
Yes, I am now back in Singapore after a short trip to Perth. There is so much things to tell you so I shall tell you in several instalments. There are so many "first time"s in this trip.

First thing first. The airport, it's the first airport I've been to - the Singapore Budget Terminal. The name doesn't sound so good, but I tell you, the building is nicer than it sounds. Here I was at the airport waiting to check-in, together with Mummy and wai po.

And this is the Departure Lounge, waiting for boarding.

And the airplane that I've going to take for the first time was finally in sight. Yeah, we were flying via Tiger Airways, a budget airline.
And this is me and Mummy inside the airplane.
Five-hour journey was a long journey, therefore I had to find something to entertain myself. That's none other than my loyal magnetic scribbling pad.
One thing not so good about the budget airline is food isn't free of charge. Daddy paid SGD8 for the roast chicken set below... and

SGD10 for this nasi lemak. It has got to be the most expensive nasi lemak Daddy ever bought.

And finally, we reached Perth. We headed straight to our two-bedroom apartment, Aarons All Suite Perth.
I was so excited that I kept running about in the apartment.
This is Daddy and me, both looking happy.

But I think, I'm happier.

You know, throughout our four days in Perth, Mummy had been cooking dinner for all of us in the apartment. Firstly, all shops closed at 5 pm, so there really was nothing much to do after 5pm. Furthermore, cooking was more economical.

Ta da... see Mummy's masterpiece, of course with some help from wai po.

Climbing is such a pleasure

.
Remember my words of wisdom "A journey to the peak begins with the first climb"?

Of course I can climb better since then. The more challenging the climb is, the more I like it.

I practically climb anything. Yes, anything...
