Progress of my growth at 5 months and 8 days old

It has been sometime since I last reported my growth. Here I am glad to update you again on my growth

Measurements are taken on 29 March 2008 (at 5 months and 8 days old), as follows

My height (length) is 70 cm tall (long) and that is beyond the 97th percentile by almost 2 cm.

While my weight is 8.2 kg and that is at the 95th percentile.

Looks like I am doing well. When I was 2.5 months old, my weight was beyond the 97th percentile by half a kg and my height is at the 97th percentile. Looks like my height has grown faster than my weight.

By the way, this has nothing to do with Marie France!!

Baby SPA

After my relentless demand for baby spa from Mummy and Daddy, they finally relented. So I thought, but I got something close - Baby Massage

Mummy and Daddy attended a baby massage class for 3 sessions in KK Hospital, and this is what they get for a fee of $84.42.

And this is what I get - MASSAGES

I think I get the better deal. In addition, Mummy and Daddy also purchase a cold-pressed essential oil for the massage for $27.70

which is applied to my whole body during the massage. Mummy call me the new generation "orang minyak"

Whatever... as long as I get my spa.. err.. massage.

This is the first time I celebrate Mummy's birthday, but I seem more interested in the cake and the lit candle.

My first car

You know, people in Singapore are so obsessed with 5 Cs, namely cash, car, credit card, condominium and country club membership. Previously, I've achieved the first C (cash) thanks to Chinese New Year. Now that I have my first car, I've fulfilled my second C. Nevermind if the car brand is... err.. "MamaLove".

My trip to Dataran Pahlawan

During Chinese New Year, I have had a chance to visit the new megamall Dataran Pahlawan in Melaka. The huge megamall has given Melaka a much-needed face-lift since mid 1990's when Mahkota Parade changed the lanscape of Melaka.

Historically, the soil where Dataran Pahlawan stands proudly was once a green field called Padang Pahlawan, the renowned place where Tunku Abdul Rahman made official historic announcement about the success of gaining indepedence for Malaya from British government.

Needless to say, since it was Chinese New Year, CNY decoration fills the entire megamall

Even the interior of Dataran Megamall was nicely designed. There is even a water fountain in it.

I was so happy that I could not stop smiling the day through-out!
