We spent our last day in Penang at Teluk Bahang, and we decided to take a boat ride to Pantai Kerachut. Daddy managed to ask some ang mohs to share the cost of boat ride which is about RM180 after 10% discount.
This was my first boat ride.
As a safety measure, we are all required to put on the floating jackets.
And off we went...
I was a little intimidated by the swaying of the boat and look at me, hiding in my safety jacket like tortoise hiding inside its shell.
After a few minutes, I got used to us and started coming out of my "shell"
We passed by the "Crocodile Rock", it looked like a crocodile head and hence its name.
and the "Turtle Rock"
We reached Pantai Kerachut after about 30 minutes ride. The first thing that greeted us was this green tree snake.
One of the reasons why Daddy chose Pantai Kerachut was to see this unique lake. It has two separate layer of water, fresh and salt water that doesn't mix. Unfortunately, it was a dry season and this was what we saw...
More information about the lake is shown in this board.
attraction in Pantai Kerachut is the turtle sanctuary. But we didn't make it there because of the time as well as due to some unforeseen circumstances.
After that, we headed home. This time on the way back, I was not that scared anymore.
