What do you see?

.
We often hear that adults and young kids have different interpretation or view of what they are seeing... but who is seeing it in a simpler way?

For example, what do you see in the picture below?

So, at two, what can I doo?

.
Stacking blocks

If you notice, I kept on saying "wow". Usually it's Mummy and Daddy who said "wow" everytime I accomplished something, as an encouragement. But, I can encourage myself, can't I?

And I also can... solve blocks problem.

More birthday celebrations!

.
When we arrived in Melaka the following weekend, a week later than originally planned, Ah Kong, gave me this present.

Of course, I jumped onto it straight away.

And Gu gu gave me this minipool

Not wasting any time, I put on my bikini (for the first time)... :-p

But, too bad, it didn't fit nicely, so I changed to this swimming suit.

Next, needless to say, into the pool I went.

In the evening, all of us went out for a dinner to celebrate my birthday!! yeah, again!

Ah Ma made this lovely fruity cheese cake for me. This is my third birthday cake!

And it didn't end there. When I went over to wai gong and wai po's house, we celebrated one more time!

Even after that, I get to tumpang celebrate birthday with other's people birthday! hehe

How I celebrate my birthday

.
This year I celebrated my birthday more than 1 time. Firstly, at yi ma's house, celebrating together with yi zhang, whose birthday is very close to mine.

Cheese cake!

The second time, I celebrated it at my nanny's house.

Nice looking delicious mango cake!

Actually, there was supposed to be the third time when we were supposed to head back to Melaka last weekend.
But, it was not to be... the picture below tells it all. :-(

Anyway, thanks to all the pressies that I receive!

Perth trip (Final instalment)

.
In the 4th instalment, my blog focused on Caversham Wildlife Farm, because it was the most interesting time that day. Caversham Wildlife Farm is situated in the Swan Valley, which is about 2o km away from Perth City.

Because it was not so convenient to travel via public transport, Daddy rented a car to go there.

Err... I thought that I should blur the plate number, in case you people use it to buy 4D. But then it's only three digits - so, ok lah.

Swan Valley is famous for its wineries. So, our first stop is a winery - Ambrook. There are lots of wineries there, but we chose Ambrook because the travel guide said that there is a free wine tasting there.

Well, it's not entirely free. It's only free if you follow up with a purchase. Otherwise, it's AUD2. Only wai gong knows how to appreciate wine, so we paid AUD2 for wai gong to taste wines.

As we all know, wine is made from grapes. But look at the plants below.

We have never seen a grape plant (tree?) like these before. Of course, I haven't seen quite a lot of things before, given my age, but then Daddy, Mummy, wai gong and wai po, haven't seen these grape plants.

So, what do you do when you see something special like this. Of course lah, die die must take picture.

Our next stop was Margaret River Chocolate Company. This time, more like it. There was free chocolate tasting and all of us have had a handful of chocolates, me included.

There are lots of variety of chocolates. Daddy and Mummy thought of buying some chocolates, but the price is really exorbitant.

We then went to Oasis restaurant for lunch. Given that it's pretty expensive to dine outside in Perth, the restaurant's lunch offer was really good value for money.

After lunch, we went to Caversham Wildlife Farm, which I've blogged in my previous entry. And that defined our fine day that day.

The next day, we went to Perth Mint.

The picture below shows wai gong, Mummy and me with two pieces of "gold nuggets". The one in wai gong's hand is Welcome Stranger (cool name). Weighing about 72 kg, it was the world's largest gold nugget ever been found.

Unfortunately, they were broken into 3 pieces due to unavailability of equipment capable of measuring nugget of that size at that time (it was found in year 1869 in Australia).

The largest existing gold nugget is Hand of Faith, found in 1980 (also in Australia), which is the one "in" Mummy's hand. It weighs about 27 kg, pale in comparison to Welcome Stranger.

Do you know how much is gold really worth today? According to the special scale in Perth Mint, I am worth AUD395,048 if I am made of gold. Daddy is 'worth' AUD3,034,528!

No wonder lah, this man went back to pick up the 'golden statue'. Given what gold is worth, who wouldn't!

In the afternoon, we went to King's Park, which is another attraction in Perth. However, I slept throughout the walk in King's Park and therefore, nothing to blog to you. A mere mention would suffice.

And on the same day that night, we flew home to Singapore.
