Teething

.
Remember my earlier blog about my first teeth? Well, now my upper two frontal teeth have also grown.

It's not a nice feeling I tell ya. Itchy, irritating, uncomfortable...

But of course I have my own ways to sooth it. Besides salivating more, you just need to distort your mouth like these.

Ahh, what a relief.

Guiness 9 ball tour

.
Today, we were at Novena Square trying to catch the semifinals and final showdown of Guinness 9 ball tour.

Excited at the prospect of seeing some of the Asia best in this sport, I have been practising cheering loudly for days. I am sure the players will be motivated by my vocal support. Hear how I cheer - Loud it is, I warn you.

But then it was not to be. The organiser had a STRANGE rule of not allowing people below the age of 18 years old to attend this event. Hmm.. I smell some fish here (err.. does 'fishy' means the smell of fish?). However, not only that I could not attend, Daddy and yi zhang failed to get into the theatre too because the organizer issued more tickets than they could take in.

Anyway, we have had the priviledge of watching the semifinalists warming up for their games. Philosophical Daddy said in Hokkien, "Bo hu, hae ya ho" (Word-by-word translation: No fish, prawn also good).

Look, can you spot me in the picture? I was really fascinated by his skill.

I was so fascinated that I did not want to miss even a second, never mind pose for the camera.

And this was the closest that I get to touching the balls.

bow-jing

I am sure all of you know how bowling works. Do you know what is bow-jing? More or less like bowling but instead of launching the bowling ball, you lauch Jing Er. The main difference is you don't have to exert force, just release Jing Er and she will head towards her targets.

This is a STRIKE!

Jing Er's words of wisdom on climbing

Confucius said, "A journey of a thousand miles begin with the first step".

I say, "A journey to the peak begins with the first climb"

I've commenced my upward journey.

Watching movie at GV in Vivocity

.
Guess what? I've had my first movie experience for the first time in GV in Vivocity - thanks to yi zhang's complimentary tickets. Err.. not actually the tickets were meant for Daddy and Mummy but Daddy and Mummy could not possibly leave me at home, so they brought me along.

And the movie - Incredible Hulk - has a PG (parental guidance) rating.

Philosophical Daddy said that since the parents are around, then we met the rating requirement. Like dat also can?

Not that I was interested in the movie. I was awed by the sheer size of the motion picture and also the surround sound. But novelty soon wore off and I began to fidget restlessly, forcing Daddy and Mummy to bring me out of the theatre.

It was much more fun outside!

Hey look, who is that pretty girl in front of me?

Why is she imitating whatever I do?

Look, here I was standing in front of a seafood restaurant, with nice fish and corals in aquariums for decoration.

The signboard of the restaurant reads "No Signboard Seafood Restaurant". If it is a no-signboard restaurant, why do they put up the signboard? And if they want to put up the signboard, then why call "No signboard" restaurant? Sigh, no wonder people says life is complicated.

Hey, look, I am in Mummy's new kangaroo pouch. Very comfy you know. I think I gonna ask Mummy to hop around.
