Perth trip (4th instalment)

.
This is my fourth instalment and by far the most interesting one.

Let me give you a hint why so. What is it about Australia that you must not miss? If you miss this, then you've not been to Australia.

KANGAROO!!!!!

To see kangaroos and co, we went to Caversham Wildlife Farm in Swan Valley. The entrance fee per adult is AUD22 but for me, it's free of charge.

At first, Daddy and Mummy guided me to sayang sayang the kangaroo.

But, pretty soon, I warmed up to the very friendly mammals.

I like them so much and followed them everywhere just like a fan stalking her favourite celebrity.

Yes, I am a stalker, not any kind of stalker, but a KANGAROO STALKER.

See my video with a kangaroo below.

This kangaroo is special, because it's white in colour.

And when finally Daddy and Mummy decided to move on to other animals, I showed my displeasure.

Yeah... by standing in front of the kangaroo gate, refusing to go and wailing non-stop.

OK lah, after a while I gave up. But what happened next wasn't any short of excitement. An ang moh uncle brought out a black baby sheep out from its enclosure just for me to play with. See video below...

He even let me feed the sheep with milk.

Other than kangaroo, another animal that you musn't miss in Australia is koala bear. Yeah, the lazy looking but very very cute bear!

Of course, there are lots of other animals in the farm, but some of them are very common and can be found easily in tropical countries like Singapore and Malaysia.

But some others that are not so common to us include...

TASMANIA DEVIL

If you somehow find the name familiar but don't know where you heard it from, let me remind you through this picture.

Yeah, that's the Tasmania Devil character from Warner Bros who keeps spinning and spinning. Just like its cartoon character, the real tasmania devil is also hyper-active and kept running non-stop. Yes, running... not spinning.

Next... WOMBAT

which looks like a cross-breed between a bear, a rat and a sea lion. Is that even possible?

Next, LLAMA

which looks like a cross-breed between horse, sheep and camel.

OK, finally, a reptile - dunno what is it. It's nothing special. But because I touched it, then I have to blog about it. hehe.

I went home a very happy girl that day. I have no doubt that the kangaroos have left a deep impression in me, that I kept asking for kangaroo at night before I went to bed.

Jing Er the kangaroo-stalker! Haha the kangaroo appeared so nonchalant about it all... ! Love how JE avoided stepping on its tail when she went around it.

Hey but does Jing Er know that kangaroos are full of fleas?!

No, Jing Er doesn't know kangaroos are full of fleas. Neither are ignorant Daddy and Mummy.

But IGNORANCE IS BLISS! Otherwise Jing Er won't get to touch the kangaroo that much. Haha..
