Genting Highlands is not the "SUA TENG" I thought

.
So, Genting Highlands is not a boring place as I found out. It is not the Sua Teng that I thought it would be.

There are lots of rides and games.

The first thing we did was to have our lunch at Pizza Hut since we arrived at Genting at about noon time and still had to wait to check into the hotel rooms.

Since Christmas is around the corner, you can expect lots of Christmas decoration.

I have seen a blue Christmas tree in Singapore, but here I saw a blue Santa Clause and blue reindeers! What is it with BLUE? Is it a trend now?

This is a pic of Daddy and me, both looking grouchy. What you expect from a man who just came out from a casino? As for me, I was grouchy because I could have had a better meal than that of foodcourt should Daddy came out smiley from casino.

Nevertheless, I loved roaming freely at First World Plaza.

Hey, look at me with a cool sunglasses. Do you know why the tag is still attached to the sunglasses? You must be very forgetful if you don't know the answer.

I told you already that Daddy came out grouchy from the casino.

That means I can't remove the tag.

And that means I had to return the sunglasses back into its original shelf. Sigh..

Getting ready to go Genting Highlands

.

Daddy and Mummy are going to bring me to Genting Highlands together with ah kong and ah ma.

Hmm... a highland is "Sua Teng" in Hokkien. People says Sua Teng is a very ulu place. So Genting Highlands must be a boring secluded place.

I better pack some toys to bring there to keep myself entertained.

Visit to Singapore Zoo

.
Thanks to yi zhang's company Family Day event, I got to visit the Singapore Zoo for the first time.

Coming with me were Mummy, Daddy, yi ma and of course yi zhang himself.

Greeting us at the entrance of the zoo were two jumbos, who were fighting it out to take picture with me. But, the winner is Mummy.

The first place to visit in the zoo is.. ta daa.. the toilet!

It's an award-winning toilet. It's open concept makes you feel as though you are "doing your business" in the public but nobody sees... *wicked*

One of the biggest attractions is the white tigers - not to be missed!

The next exhibit shown in the picture below was a pygmy hippo, which has part of its body submerged in the water. But I was more interested in the fish.

Look, I made friend with a kangaroo. It was so friendly that it allows me to touch its nose.
I know I know.... it's a fake one, but this one is real. So, I only got to point at him.
Cool, kangaroo crossing signboard. That means you have to give priority to kangaroos every time they cross your path, just like pedestrian zebra-crossing.
A zebra crossing for kangaroo? Somehow, this sentence doesn't sounds right.

Next the warthog, a species of wildboar.

And there are many more animals lah. Too many to show you.

Walking in the zoo alone is an enjoyable moment, especially with its well-planned shedded path.

Oh ya, not forgetting the elephant show. We were there 10 minutes early and I was already looking so bored waiting for the show to start.

And finally, the moment came. It's unbelievable what the elephant can do.
They are so heavy but they can...... walk! Amazing! No lah, of course not just this, they can spray water from their long trunk, crush coconut, pull logs and even lift their caretakers with their trunk.

By the way, I have had this yellow square patch sticked at my back for the entire visit.

Guess what is it?

Dancing

.
Somehow, I missed blogging this video. This video was taken late Sept 2008 when I was 11 months old. At that time, I had yet to walk unassisted, but that didn't stop me from dancing.

Now I can do the same but without hand holding onto the sideboard.
